1930 American LaFrance – Type 212 Hose & Booster Wagon, 80 gal. tank, Builder ID# 7231.
(In 1956, it was converted to the Ansul/Cardox Unit, equipped with large quantities of CO2 and dry chemical (Ansul) for use on aircraft fuel and other petroleum products. It was quartered with Engine 40 in East Boston in close proximity to Logan Airport and the oil tank farms along Chelsea Creek.)

Equipped with two reels of 100ft rubber hose; Four 20lb dry chemical extinguishers; two 15lb CO2 extinguishers; two 30lb tanks of dry chemical powder; two pressurized water extinguishers. Converted in 1971 to a Lighting Plant, equipped with lights and a generator.
