January 29, 1909 – Ladderman Daniel T. Dineen, Ladder Company 17, died in the Line-Of-Duty from an illness contracted at the Park Square Fire on January 17, 1909.
June, 1911 – Company received a new 1911 Seagrave extension aerial ladder truck.
July 27, 1915 – Company received a 1915 Christie 2-wheel Front Drive motor tractor, Shop # 212T , attached to the 1911 Seagrave extension aerial ladder truck.

July 19, 1925 – Company received a new 1925 American LaFrance, Type 17, 85ft aerial ladder truck, Serial # 5046-C383, Shop # 240.
November 19, 1925 – Company moved to temporary location at 7 Whitmore Street, Downtown, during renovations to the firehouse at 157 Harrison Avenue, Downtown.
February 17, 1926 – Company returned to 157 Harrison Avenue, Downtown.
January 11, 1929 – Company received a new 1928 American LaFrance, Type 17, 85ft aerial ladder truck, Serial # 6408-C475, Shop # 256.
January 7, 1946 – Company moved to the quarters of Engine 26 at 194 Broadway, Downtown. The old firehouse at 157 Harrison Avenue, Downtown, was closed and demolished at a later date.
January 4, 1949 – Company received a new 1949 Pirsch, ‘Hydromechanical’, 85ft tiller aerial ladder truck, Serial # 1802, Shop # 243.
April 30, 1956 – Company received a new 1956 Seagrave, ‘Model 900T’, 100ft tiller aerial ladder truck, Serial # J1331, Shop # 279.
February 16, 1971 – Company received a new 1971 Maxim 100ft tiller aerial ladder truck, Serial # 2871, Shop # 218.
May 10, 1971 – Company moved, along with Engine 7 & Engine 26, to a new firehouse at 200 Columbus Avenue, in the Park Square area of Downtown. The old firehouse 194 Broadway was closed and demolished shortly thereafter.
1974 – Fire Fighter Francis A. Baxter, Ladder Company 17, was awarded the Roll Of Merit. Citation

2017 – Fire Fighter Dennis P. Harrison, Ladder Company 17 (detailed to Rescue Co. 1) was awarded the Walter Scott Medal of Valor for his actions on Hanover Street, North End, on November 22, 2017.
