January 5, 1874 – The Town of Brighton was annexed to the City of Boston. The horse-drawn ladder company at 20 Chestnut Hill Avenue , near Washington Street, Brighton, became part of the Boston Fire Department. The company was assigned a Hunneman & Co. ladder truck equipped with 13 ladders of varying lengths.
May 20, 1874 – The Board of Fire Commissioners voted to designate Brighton Ladder 1 as Boston Ladder Company 11, the change taking place the first week of June.
1895 – Company received an 1872 Hunneman & Co. ladder truck, equipped with 14 ladders of varying lengths.
January, 1907 – Company received a new 1907 American LaFrance ladder truck equipped with 14 ladders of varying lengths.
February 15, 1919 – Ladderman Thomas J. Stevens, Ladder Company 11, died in the Line-Of-Duty while responding to a Still Alarm on Academy Hill Road, Brighton.
1924 – Company received a 1912 American LaFrance, Type 14, city-service combination ladder truck, with 35gal. tank, Serial # 214, Shop # 200.
May 23, 1925 – Company received a new 1925 American LaFrance, Type 17, 85ft aerial ladder truck, Serial # 5046-C383, Shop # 241.
December 20, 1929 – Company moved to new firehouse at 138 Chestnut Hill Avenue , Brighton. The old firehouse at 20 Chestnut Hill Avenue was closed.
April 28, 1932 – Company received a 1925 American LaFrance tractor, Serial # 5381, Shop # 210T , attached to the 1925 American LaFrance aerial ladder trailer, Shop # 241.
September 8, 1944 – Company received a new 1944 American LaFrance ‘600 Series’ 100ft aerial ladder truck, Serial # 8181-C696, Shop # 211.
1956 – Company received a 1944 American LaFrance ‘600 Series’ 100ft aerial ladder truck, Serial # 8180-C695, Shop # 208.
April 23, 1957 – Company received a new 1957 Mack, Type B85F, tractor, Serial # B85F-1211, Shop # 211T , attached to the 1944 American LaFrance 100ft aerial ladder trailer, Shop # 211.
1966 – Fire Fighter John J. McHugh, Ladder Company 11, was awarded the Roll Of Merit for his actions on Gardner Street, Brighton, on February 13, 1966. Citation
1970 – Company received a 1968 American LaFrance 100ft aerial ladder truck, Serial # 12-1-933, Shop # 234.
1973 – Acting Fire Lieutenant Paul F. O’Brien, Ladder Company 11, detailed to Engine Company 1, was awarded the Walter Scott Medal for Valor for his actions at Box 7163, on October 22, 1973.

October 26, 1976 – Company received a new 1976 Seagrave 100ft aerial ladder truck, Serial # F76064, Shop # 294.
June 23, 1988 – Company received a new 1988 Emergency One 110ft rearmount aerial ladder truck, Serial # 6020, Shop # 213.
1988 – Fire Fighter William D. Trojano, Ladder Company 11, was awarded the Distinguished Service Award for his actions on Savin Hill Avenue, Dorchester, on January 23, 1988. Citation
