February 10, 1893 – Company organized at the quarters of Chemical Engine Co. 6 at 16 Harvard Avenue , Allston. The company was assigned a Clapp & Jones Third-Size steam engine, Serial # 2169. The firehouse had opened on March 22, 1892.
February, 1909 – Company received a new 1909 Amoskeag Second-Size steam engine, Serial # 842, built by the International Power Co.
December 14, 1914 – The horse-drawn apparatus was replaced by a Robinson motor triple-combination engine, 900gpm pump, No Serial #, Shop # 104 , operating as a Single-unit.
April 23, 1915 – Chemical Engine Co. 6 was deactivated at Engine 41’s quarters.
April 5, 1916 – Ladder Company 14 was organized at Engine 41’s quarters. Ladder 14 had been in service from 1883 to 1915 at Fort Hill Square , Downtown.
January 26, 1921 – Company was made a Double-unit. Company received a new 1920 American LaFrance, Type 75, 750gpm pumper, Serial # 3217, Shop # 138 , and a 1920 American LaFrance, Type 40, Hose & Chemical Wagon, Serial # 2807, Shop # 329.
October 11, 1927 – Company received a new 1927 American LaFrance, Type 75, Hose & Chemical Wagon, Serial # 6119, Shop # 359.
October 26, 1928 – Company received a 1920 American LaFrance, Type 75, 750gpm pumper, Serial # 2809, Shop # 128.
August 21, 1938 – Engine 41’s pumper, Shop # 128 , was wrecked in a collision on Commonwealth Av. The pumper was later junked.
August 24, 1938 – Company received a 1920 American LaFrance, Type 75, 750gpm pumper, Serial # 3155, Shop # 136.
November 4, 1947 – Company received a new 1947 Mack, Type 85, 750gpm pumper, Serial # 85LS-1153, Shop # 148.
May 15, 1948 – Company received a 1947 Mack, Type 85, Hose & Booster Wagon, Serial # 85LS-1160, Shop # 305.
August 10, 1955 – The Mack Hose Wagon, Shop # 305 , was sent to the Department Shops, for conversion to an Engine/Squad.
January 25, 1957 – Company changed to a combination Single-Double-unit.
November 8, 1957 – Company received a 1948 Ward LaFrance, Model 85H, Hose Wagon, Serial # 2332, Shop # 309 , ex-Engine 9 and Engine 13.
December 3, 1964 – Company received a new 1964 Ward LaFrance, Model P90, 1250gpm pumper, Serial # 64-9014, Shop # 188.
1966 – Fire Fighter Elliott J. Miller, Engine Company 41, was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal. Citation
November 20, 1970 – Company received a 1968 Ward LaFrance, Model P80, 1250gpm pumper, Serial # 80-234, Shop # 161 , ex-Engine 24.
June 15, 1977 – Engine 41 and Ladder 14 moved into a new firehouse at 460 Cambridge Street , Allston. The old firehouse at 16 Harvard Avenue , Allston, was closed.
March, 1980 – The 1968 Ward LaFrance pumper, Shop # 161 , was returned to service painted lime-green.
February 23, 1981 – Compant received a 1970 Hahn 1250gpm pumper, Serial # C12-38, Shop # 145 , ex-Engine 25.
1981 – Fire Fighter Robert T. Gorman, Engine Company 41, was awarded the Patrick J. Kennedy Medal of Honor, for his actions in Brighton at Box 5286 on November 14, 1981.

January 27, 1985 – Company received a new 1985 Emergency One/Ford 1250gpm pumper, Serial # 3892, Shop # 109.
January 7, 1986 – Fire Fighter Thomas L. Conley, Engine Company 41, died in the Line-Of-Duty after operating at Box 5484, Bigelow & Dunboy Sts., Brighton.

October 29, 1996 – Company received a new 1996 Emergency One, Cyclone II, 1250gpm pumper, Serial # 16496, Shop # 143.
1997 – Fire Fighter Bruce K. Haggquist, Engine Company 41, was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal. Citation
September 7, 1999 – Company received a new 1999 Emergency One, Cyclone II, 1250gpm pumper, Shop # 154. The 1996 E-One pumper, Shop # 143 , was reassigned to Engine 51.
1999 – Fire Fighter Troy T. Osgood, Engine Company 41, was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal.
January 21, 2003 – Company received a 2002 Pierce/Kenworth Foam Pumper, on loan to the Boston Fire Department, No Serial/Shop number. Engine 41 used the loaner until November, 2003, when it was returned to the builder. The 1999 E-One pumper, Shop # 154 , was reassigned to Engine 7.
November 3, 2003 – Company received a new 2003 Pierce, ‘Enforcer’-model, Foam, 1250gpm pumper, Serial # 14757-4, Shop #167.
2005 – Fire Fighter Charles J. Popp, Engine Company 41, was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal. Citation
April 15, 2014 – Company received a new 2014 KME ‘Severe Service’ Foam pumper, equipped with a pre-piped nozzle, Serial # 8991, Shop # 185.
2019 – Four members of Engine Company 41, Fire Lieutenant Juan Henriquez and Fire Fighters Jason C. Jimenez, Michael F. Gavin and Jacob Yee, were awarded the Commissioner’s Unit Citation for their actions on Washington Street, Brighton, on February 14, 2019. Citation
