April 21, 1905 – Combination Ladder Co. 9 was designated LADDER COMPANY 25. The company continued to be quartered at the firehouse at 1940 Centre Street , West Roxbury. The company continued to use a 1900 Charles T. Holloway & Co. combination ladder truck, equipped with 7 ladders of varying lengths.
April 24, 1917 – Company received a new 1917 Christie Front-Drive 2-wheel motor tractor, Shop # 219T , attached to the 1900 Holloway combination ladder truck.
August 16, 1926 – Company received a new 1926 American LaFrance, Type 14, combiantion city-service ladder truck, Serial # 5596, Shop # 247.
December 2, 1931 – Company received a new 1931 American LaFrance, Type 214, city-service ladder truck, with 100gal. booster, Serial # 7383, Shop # 262.
May 24, 1956 – Company received a 1953 Pirsch 65ft junior aerial ladder truck, with 150gal. booster, Serial # 2083, Shop # 204.
1971 – Company received a 1968 Diamond Reo tractor, Serial # 574669, Shop # 207T , attached to a 1957 Seagrave 100ft aerial ladder trailer, Shop # 281.
1981 – Company received a 1973 Maxim 100ft tiller aerial ladder truck, Serial # 3129, Shop # 224.
1986 – Company received a 1976 Seagrave 100ft tiller aerial ladder truck, Serial # F76066, Shop # 296.
1989 – Company received a 1976 Seagrave 100ft tiller aerial ladder truck, Serial # F76064, Shop # 294.
August 2, 1990 – Company received a new 1990 Emergency One 110ft rearmount aerial ladder truck, Serial # 8094, Shop # 220.
August 29, 2007 – Fire Fighter Warren J. Payne, Ladder Company 25, died in the Line-Of-Duty at Box 281, 4 Alarms, at 1721 Centre Street, West Roxbury.
2010 – Company received a 1997 Emergency One 110ft rearmount aerial ladder truck, Serial # 17146, Shop # 233.
2016 – Four members of Ladder Company 25, Fire Captain James M. Doyle and Fire Fighters Wilfredo Pacheco, Mark E. Needham and Jose A. Cancel were awarded the Commissioner’s Unit Citation for their actions on LaGrange Street, Newton, MA, on August 4, 2016. Citation
