March 28, 1884 – Company received a new 1884 Amoskeag Second Size steam engine, built by Manchester Locomotive Works, Serial # 591.
1906 – Company received an 1896 Amoskeag Second Size steam engine, Serial # 720, ex-Engine 8.
June, 1907 – Company received a new 1907 Amoskeag Second Size steam engine, Serial # 820, built by the International Power Co.
1918 – Hoseman Henry J. Kelley of Engine Company 32 was awarded the Roll Of Merit. Citation
July 17, 1923 – Company received a 1920 American LaFrance, Type 75, 750gpm motor pumper, Serial # 3155, Shop # 136 , ex-Engine 37, replacing the horse-drawn steam engine. Company operated as a Single-unit.
May 15, 1926 – Company received a new 1926 American LaFrance, Type 75, 750gpm pumper, Serial # 5514, Shop # 177.
October 13, 1927 – Company received a 1919 American LaFrance, Type 40, combination Hose & Chemical wagon, Serial # 2654, Serial # 324, making the company a Double-unit.
November 29, 1929 – Captain Florence J. Sullivan, Engine Company 32, died in the Line-Of-Duty at Box 221, 2 alarms. He was overcome by smoke and fumes while searching for victims. Engine 32 was covering in the South End, due to a 4-alarm fire that had occurred earlier in Roxbury.
August 22, 1930 – Company received a new 1930 American LaFrance, Type 212, Hose & Booster wagon, Serial # 7237, Shop # 377.
1932 – Hoseman John A. O’Connor of Engine Company 32 was awarded the Roll Of Merit.
October 22, 1947 – Company received a new 1947 Mack, Type 19, 750gpm pumper, Serial # 19LS-1064, Shop # 138.
April 6, 1956 – Company changed to Single-unit operation, but retained the 1930 ALF Hose Wagon for response with both units to selected alarms.
April 11, 1957 – Company received a new 1957 Mack, Type 125, 1250gpm pumper, Serial # B125F-1029, Shop # 102. The use of the Hose Wagon was discontinued.
July 1, 1961 – Ladder Company 9 moved into Engine 32’s quarters at 440 Bunker Hill Street. Ladder 9’s old firehouse at 333 Main Street, Charlestown, was closed. (G.O. 29)
October 6, 1970 – Company received a 1968 Ward LaFrance, Model P80, 1250gpm pumper, Serial # 80-243, Shop # 170, ex-Engine 17.
October 16, 1970 – Company moved to a new firehouse at 525 Main Street, Charlestown, about one block away. The old firehouse at 440 Bunker Hill Street was permanently closed.
June 17, 1972 – Three members of Engine Company 32 are among nine members who died in the Line-Of-Duty at the Vendome Hotel Fire/Collapse, Commonwealth Avenue & Dartmouth Street, Back Bay, 4 alarms, Box 1571. They were: Fire Lieutenant Thomas J. Carroll, Fire Fighter Thomas W. Beckwith, Fire Fighter Paul J. Murphy.

May 29, 1981 – The 1968 Ward LaFrance pumper, Shop # 170, was placed out of service. It was replaced by a spare 1973 Maxim, Serial 3136, Shop # 176, ex-Engine 12.
December 9, 1981 – Company received a 1971 Hahn 1500gpm pumper, Serial # C15-14, Shop # 154, ex-Engine 33.
April 13, 1982 – Company received a 1970 Hahn 1250gpm pumper, Serial # C12-36, Shop # 143, ex-Engine 37.
July 10, 1984 – Company received a 1970 Hahn 1250gpm pumper, Serial # C12-35, Shop # 128, ex-Engine 22.
January 30, 1985 – Company received a new 1985 Emergency One/Ford 1250gpm pumper, Serial # 3894,Shop # 111.
September 16, 2002 – Company received a new 2002 Pierce ‘Enforcer’ 1250gpm pumper, Serial # 1354501, Shop # 161, equipped with All-Wheel steering.
2017 – Four members of Engine Company 32, Fire Lieutenant Jorge A. Rojas (Headquarters) and Fire Fighters Robert L. Biggs, Juan C. Gonzales and Fire Fighter on Probation Joshua M. Waters, were awarded the Commissioner’s Unit Citation for their actions at Ryan Playground, Charlestown, on April 23, 2017. Citation
November 4, 2021 – Company received a new 2021 Emergency One ‘Typhoon’ pumper, 1250gpm, 560g/30f tank, Serial # 143212, Shop # 132.
