March 5, 1913 – Company organized at Engine 42’s quarters at 3089 Washington Street , Jamaica Plain. The company was assigned a new 1913 American LaFrance, Type 14, motor city-service combination ladder truck, Serial # 215, Shop # 201. Chemical Engine Company 5 at this firehouse was disbanded.
1926 – Company receieved a 1913 American LaFrance, Type 14, city-service combination ladder truck, with 35gal. booster, Serial # 259, Shop # 203.
November 22, 1927 – Company received a 1923 American LaFrance, Type 17, 75ft tiller aerial ladder truck, Serial # 4368-C334, Shop # 238.
April 29, 1950 – Company received a 1945 American LaFrance, ‘B600 Series’ tractor, Serial # L2114, Shop # 201T , attached to a 1927 American LaFrance, Type 17, 85ft aerial ladder trailer, Shop # 249.
December 19, 1952 – Company moved to a new firehouse, along with Engine 42, at 1870 Columbus Avenue , Roxbury. The old firehouse at 3089 Washington Street , Jamaica Plain, was closed.
1954 – Company received a 1949 FWD ‘Model F85’ tiller aerial ladder truck, with 150 gal. booster, Serial # 73193, Shop # 207.
1958 – Company received a 1949 FWD ‘Model F85’ tiller aerial ladder truck, with 150 gal. booster, Serial # 73191, Shop # 202.
1960 – Company received a 1947 Mack, Type 19, tractor, Serial # 19LS-1069, Shop # 404T , attached to a 1950 American LaFrance 85ft aerial ladder trailer, Shop # 234.
July 20, 1962 – Company received a new 1962 Seagrave 85ft tiller aerial ladder truck, Serial # N311, Shop # 213.
1969 – Fire Lieutenant William P. Doyle, Ladder Company 30, was awarded the John E. Fitzgerald Medal for the Most Meritorious Act of 1969 for his actions at 340 Warren Street, Roxbury, Box 2157, 2 Alarms, on November 22, 1969. Citation for Fire Lieutenant William P. Doyle
October 13, 1970 – Company received a new 1970 American LaFrance 100ft tiller aerial ladder truck, Serial # 12-1-1949, Shop # 202.
1970 – Fire Fighter Frederick J. Barrett, Ladder Company 30, was awarded the Roll Of Merit for his actions at 355 Centre Street, Jamaica Plain, Box 2415, 2 Alarms, on November 23, 1970. Citation
November 5, 1971 – Fire Fighter James F. Doneghey, Ladder Company 30, died in the Line-Of-Duty from injuries received when he was thrown from the tiller seat while responding to Box 2388. Medal Of Valor Citation for Fire Fighter Doneghey.
1971 – Fire Fighter Henry J. Cullen, Ladder Company 30, was awarded the Roll Of Merit. Citation
June 19, 1972 – Fire Fighter Vincent Dimino, Ladder Company 30, died in the Line-Of-Duty from injuries received when he was thrown from the tiller seat while responding to Box 2394.
