September 21, 1954 – Engine Company 11 was designated Engine Squad Company 11. The company was assigned rescue equipment and was to perform combination engine and rescue service. The company received a 1954 Federal/General Truck Corp. pumper, 750gpm, Serial # 159382, formerly CD-7.
April 27, 1956 – Company received a 1947 Mack Type 85/Robinson ‘Squad’ pumper, Serial # 85LS-1156, Shop # 333 , after being refitted with a squad body. The rig was formerly Engine 3’s 1947 Mack Hose Wagon.
July 1, 1961 – Engine Squad 11 moved from 761 Saratoga Street to the quarters of Engine Company 5 at 360 Saratoga Street , East Boston. The firehouse at 761 Saratoga Street was closed and later demolished.
July 14, 1969 – Engine Squad Company 11 was designated Engine Company 11. The rescue equipment was reassigned to Ladder Company 2.
